The Fue Technique

In the FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction), the hair follicles are taken one by one with a special micro-motor and the aid of local anesthesia; subsequently they are repositioned in the bald areas, taking into account the angle and natural direction of hair growth. Generally, the donor area (the area from which the follicles are taken) is the back of the head. Since the nape follicles are genetically stronger and more resistant to shedding, this region is preferred as a donor area. However, if the area is not dense enough, the grafts are collected from other parts of the body. The taken bulbs are planted in sparse or completely bald areas.

The DHI Technique

DHI hair transplantation, also called direct hair implantation, is performed by transferring the follicles to the area to be transplanted, using a special instrumentation with fine-tipped needles. There are no incision scars or sutures when using the technique. The purpose of this transplant method is to minimize the time the follicles remain outside, and to reposition them with a good density and continuously.
